Job Summary

Eurest is immediately hiring TWO full-time Cooks specializing in Korean Cuisine to work at the dedicated Korean food station within our corporate café at the Samsung facility in North Austin. We are looking for talented individuals to prepare high-quality, authentic Korean food while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. Schedule and Compensation

  • Openings: Two (2) Full-Time Positions
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (Negotiable)
  • Hours: Days may vary, working either 6:00 am to 2:30 pm OR 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of prior culinary experience is preferred.
  • Language (Client Request): Fluency in Korean is required at the request of our client.
  • Safety Commitment: Must perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment, including adhering to all safety policies (e.g., using cut gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes).
  • HACCP Knowledge: Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be focused on preparing food for the Korean station, ensuring quality service is provided at all times:

  • Prepares high-quality Korean food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
  • Cleans the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, reporting, and ordering/receiving of food and supplies as required.
